The Blairstown Dog Park is officially breaking ground on Monday, May 20th!
The new Dog Park is located in Sycamore Park, at 10 Lambert Road, Blairstown. We are so excited to have the park become a reality. Stop by throughout the week and see the progress.
Membership forms can be found at the Blairstown Municipal Building (106 Rt 94, Blairstown), Catherine Dickson Hoffman Library (4 Lambert Road, Blairstown) or can be downloaded online from the link below.
The site is over an acre in size and will have two areas; one for small dogs and one for medium to large dogs. The dog park will be available to everyone who submits a completed application and signed waiver of liability. Membership is not restricted and will not require town residency. The dog park is not funded by the town or state, or with any tax dollars. It will be built and maintained solely by donations, membership and volunteer work. We are a 501c3 charitable organization which will make your donations tax deductible!!!
We are busy planning all that has to get done and welcome any and all help. Landscaping and signs need to be done as well as other items such as advertising, membership drives and administrative work.
