Blairstown Dog Park - Come Join The Fun!
Thank you for visiting our site!
We are very excited to announce that Blairstown will have a Dog Park in the near future! Blairstown Municipality has generously donated land behind the Blairstown municipal building on Route 94 to be used as a dog park. The site is over an acre in size and will boast two areas; one for small dogs and one for medium to large dogs. The dog park will be available to everyone who submits a completed application and signed waiver of liability.  Membership is not restricted and will not require town residency. The dog park is not funded by the town or state, or with any tax dollars. It will be built and maintained solely by donations, membership and volunteer work.
There is so much to do in order to make this dream come true so let's get started! We need to raise approximately $25,000.00 to build the park. Most of this money will be used to buy and install the required fencing. In addition, there are signs, seating, and a walkway to build. We also need, just to name a few, landscaping, lawn maintenance and well as waste bags and trash cans. As you can see, there are quite a few items in our budget.
You may have seen our volunteers at the Blairstown Farmers Market and most recently we participated in the Holiday Bazaar on Mohican Road.  In addition, we have donation request jars at local business establishments. Please check our Calendar page to see upcoming events. Your support is greatly appreciated!
We have finally received our 501c3 charitable organization status which will make your donations tax deductible!!!
Please continue to check our website for new updates. There's much more to come!
